CHEROKEE COUNTY LANDFILL

RECYCLING/HHW EMPLOYEE

POSITION OVERVIEW:

To perform recyclable material processing tasks and operates recycling processing equipment. Litter pick up around the landfill property and off the property on an as needed basis.  To be able to drive our leachate tanker truck when needed. Will need to acquire a class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsement.

To work in the household hazardous waste regional collection center located at the Cherokee County Landfill. This position does require the applicant to travel on scheduled days in the afternoon and early evening to various towns in Cherokee, Ida and Sac Counties to collect household hazardous waste. Applicant must be able to obtain HHW state certification as required by the State of Iowa.

This position is a full-time position. You can apply at Cherokee County Landfill.
