The Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations (ISOSWO) Legislative Committee is hosting a webinar on the Iowa Battery Stewardship Bill on January 8th from 11AM – 12PM. During this webinar, ISOSWO’s President, Garrett Prestegard, Call2Recycles’s Carin Stuart, and The Rechargeable Battery Association’s Marc Boolish, will present the details of the proposed legislation that was introduced last year (SF545/HF726). The purpose of the webinar is to inform and educate attendees on importance of the Iowa Battery Stewardship Bill and to encourage attendees to engage with local policymakers and other stakeholders, with the goal of enacting the bill into law during this year's legislative session.
