The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) is the leading professional association in the solid waste industry with over 8,000 members. With a mission to advance the practice of environmentally and economically sound management of municipal solid waste, SWANA provides education and networking opportunities to solid waste professionals in every facet of the industry, benefitting individual members while also furthering the work of the industry.

Board Member Nomination timeline:

  • Voting begins in March

  • Election in April at the Spring Conference
