The Iowa DNR has certified the Iowa 25-Hour Landfill Operator Certification Course developed by SCS. This three-day course is required for those seeking to become Iowa certified landfill operators.

SCS has developed this training course to be engaging, interactive, and impactful for students with various industry backgrounds and levels of experience. While the course covers Iowa DNR required training elements and helps prepare operators for the certification exam, it also provides operators with an introduction to the following important topics:
